Thank you for choosing Spa Mobile® to bring wellness directly to your workplace. The following Terms & Conditions apply to all corporate massage bookings. By scheduling or participating in a session, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Service
Spa Mobile® provides professional on-site massage therapy services, including chair massage and table massage, depending on the selected package.
-
Sessions may range from 10 to 90 minutes and are designed for wellness and relaxation purposes only.
-
All services are performed by licensed, insured, and vetted therapists in accordance with Spa Mobile’s quality and safety standards.
2. Client Consent
-
Employees receiving massage services voluntarily consent to treatment and understand it may include hands-on therapeutic work.
-
For table massages, skin contact with massage oils or lotions may occur. Draping will always be used to protect privacy and comfort.
-
Clients may end or pause the session at any time and should communicate any discomfort, pressure preferences, or areas to avoid directly to the therapist.
3. Health & Safety Disclosure
Massage therapy is a non-medical wellness service. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition.
Clients must inform the therapist of any relevant health conditions, including but not limited to:
-
Pregnancy
-
Recent surgery or injury
-
Skin sensitivities or allergies
-
Chronic illnesses (e.g., cancer, cardiovascular conditions)
Failure to disclose relevant health conditions may increase the risk of discomfort or complications and releases Spa Mobile® from liability.
4. Liability Waiver
By participating, clients waive any and all claims against Spa Mobile®, its therapists, and its affiliates for injury, reaction, or discomfort resulting from the massage.
The hosting company agrees to inform participants of these terms and obtain internal consent from each employee before their session.
Therapists reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if a client appears unwell, unsafe, or violates professional boundaries.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
-
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
-
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be charged the full service amount.
-
If a session paid by credit card is cancelled on time, a refund will be issued minus Stripe transaction fees.
-
Missed appointments or no-shows are non-refundable unless due to a documented medical emergency.
6. Hygiene Fee for Table Massage
For all corporate table massage bookings, a $5 disposable sheet set fee per participant will be added to the invoice.
Each set includes a single-use fitted sheet, top drape, and face cradle cover to ensure maximum hygiene and eliminate laundering between sessions.
7. Payment Terms
-
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is required prior to or on the day of service.
-
Accepted payment methods include e-transfer, credit card, approved corporate invoicing, or cash (when arranged in advance).
-
Cash Payments to Therapist: If the “cash payment” option is selected, the client must provide the full service amount plus applicable fees directly to the therapist before or immediately after the session.
-
Tips: Gratuities are optional and may be given in cash or via e-transfer directly to the therapist.
8. Therapist Safety & Boundaries
Spa Mobile® therapists are trained professionals and require a safe, respectful, and professional work environment.
Services will be terminated immediately if a client:
-
Behaves inappropriately
-
Is under the influence of drugs or alcohol
-
Makes the therapist feel unsafe or disrespected
Such incidents may result in permanent refusal of services and, where applicable, legal action.
9. Insurance Receipts Policy
Insurance receipts are only issued for individual sessions of 30 minutes or more that are:
-
Paid directly by the employee
-
Performed by a licensed massage therapist (RMT)
Group chair massage sessions or company-paid sessions are not eligible for insurance receipts.
It is the employee’s responsibility to verify their coverage and confirm whether on-site massage by an RMT is eligible under their plan.
Receipt requests must be made before the session begins.
10. Session Management & Changes
-
Changes to participant lists, timing, or service type must be communicated to Spa Mobile® at least 48 hours in advance.
-
For additional employees or extended sessions, billing adjustments will apply.
-
Rebooking links and instructions will be provided to the company contact as needed.
