1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering with Spa Mobile (“the Company”) as an independent massage therapist or wellness provider (“Provider”), you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of the Spa Mobile platform constitutes acceptance of any amendments posted to this page.
2. Independent Contractor Status
- You acknowledge that you are engaged as an independent contractor, not an employee of Spa Mobile.
- You retain full control over how, when, and where you perform services, subject to the Company’s guidelines.
- You are responsible for all taxes, deductions, and filings required by local regulations.
3. Provider Obligations
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and high standards of client care.
- Complete and submit post-treatment notes within 24 hours of each appointment, using the prescribed format.
- Represent Spa Mobile’s brand and values in communications, email signatures, attire, and conduct.
4. Services and Booking
- Services, rates, and packages available through the Spa Mobile app or booking dashboard are provided to you in real time.
- You may accept or decline any booking request, but must decline promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
- Confirm appointment details (address, parking, special instructions) immediately upon acceptance.
5. Compensation & Payments

- Payments are issued weekly via direct deposit.
- All tips declared through the Spa Mobile system are processed with your regular payout.
6. Travel Fees
- Travel coverage includes up to 30 km each way from your address.
- Beyond 30 km, you earn $0.57 CAD per additional round-trip kilometer.
- Reimbursements are calculated automatically based on app-reported distance.
7. Cancellation Policies

- Client cancellations under 24 hours still compensate the Provider at the standard rate.
- Provider-initiated cancellations under 24 hours incur a $25 CAD fee deducted from your next payout.
8. Equipment, Licensing & Insurance
- Maintain current massage therapy licensure per provincial regulations.
- Carry and maintain professional liability insurance (minimum $2 million coverage).
- Provide your own table, linens, oils, and approved attire.
- Ensure reliable transportation and a smartphone capable of running the Spa Mobile app.
9. Confidentiality & Privacy
- All client information accessed via the Spa Mobile platform is confidential.
- Do not share client data, sanitized notes, or proprietary Company materials without express written consent.
- Comply with all applicable privacy and data-protection laws.
10. Code of Conduct
- Uphold Spa Mobile’s core values: Integrity, Accountability, Client-First, Growth, Teamwork.
- Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional behavior.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including hygiene standards and any applicable COVID-19 guidelines.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and materials provided by Spa Mobile remain the Company’s intellectual property. You may use these materials only as expressly permitted for promotional or instructional purposes.
12. Termination
- Either party may terminate this agreement with 14 days’ written notice.
- Grave violations (breach of confidentiality, repeated no-shows, or misconduct) may result in immediate termination without notice.
13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Any dispute arising under these Terms must first be addressed through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes will be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and adjudicated in Toronto courts.
